Report title in ERP: <b>Order Wise Profit Summary</b>

<p><b>What it shows.</b> Each sale order with order number, customer, sale amount, cost, profit amount, profit percentage, and fulfillment status.</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use to assess order-level profitability before or after fulfillment, and compare estimated vs actual profit on orders.</p>

<p><b>How amounts are calculated.</b> Profit based on order line sale values minus item costs. Actual profit uses invoiced amounts; estimated uses order values before invoicing.</p>

<p><b>Is profit estimated or actual?</b><br>Estimated on open orders using order values. Actual once linked invoices are posted.</p>
<p><b>Why is profit negative?</b><br>Sale price is below item cost — shown on a pink label if configured.</p>
<p><b>Do I need profit report access?</b><br>Yes. Your user role must include access to profit reports, same as other profit reports.</p>
<p><b>How is this different from Bill Wise Profit Report?</b><br>Bill Wise Profit Report is invoice-based. This report ties profit to the originating sale order.</p>
<p><b>Is this final profit?</b><br>Estimated from order rates and costs — final margin is on <a href="#/sales/reports/profit-bill-report">Bill Wise Profit Report</a> after invoice.</p>

<p><b>Which orders appear?</b><br>Approved sale orders in the filter. Draft orders have no reliable fulfilment profit.</p>
