Report title in ERP: <b>Month Wise Item Wise Sale</b>

<p><b>What it shows.</b> One row per item with quantity and amount columns for each month (January through December), plus year-end <b>Total Quantity</b> and <b>Total Amount</b>.</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use to evaluate item performance trends throughout the year and support production, purchase, and sales strategy decisions.</p>

| Mar–Dec (Qty / Amt) | Same pair of columns for each remaining month. |
| Total Quantity | Sum of all monthly quantities sold across the year. |
| Total Amount | Sum of all monthly sales amounts across the year. |

<p>Each month has two sub-columns: <b>Quantity</b> (units sold) and <b>Amount</b> (total sales value).</p>

<p><b>How are Total Quantity and Total Amount calculated?</b><br>They are the sum of all monthly quantity and amount columns for the selected year and filters.</p>

<p><b>Can I compare two years?</b><br>Generate the report for each year separately and compare the exported data in Excel.</p>

<p><b>How is this different from Item Wise Sale Report?</b><br><a href="#/sales/reports/item-wise-sale-report">Item Wise Sale Report</a> aggregates totals for a date range. Month Wise Item Wise Sale breaks the same data into monthly columns for trend analysis.</p>

<p><b>Are returns deducted from monthly amounts?</b><br>Monthly columns reflect net sales for the period as computed by the system. Use <a href="#/sales/reports/month-wise-sale-report">Month Wise Sale</a> for return impact at the summary level.</p>
<p><b>Can I compare two items across months?</b><br>Export to Excel and pivot by item and month for trend charts.</p>

<p><b>How is this different from Item Wise Sale Report?</b><br>Item Wise is one period total. Month Wise Item Wise shows monthly movement per SKU.</p>
