# RP Center Transfer

<p class="doc-lead">RP Center Transfer moves returnable packaging between inventory centers — load 200 milk crates from the main depot onto Vehicle 1 center for the day's delivery run. Usually created from the RP tab on an Inventory Transfer; standalone entries are for manual corrections.</p>

<h2 id="overview">Overview &amp; List View</h2>

Go to <b>RP → RP Center Transfer</b>.

<b>List columns:</b> Id, Date, Source Center, Destination Center, Inventory Transfer ID, Status.

<b>Quick filter tabs:</b> Default, Approved, Draft, Cancelled, Closed.

<b>Advanced Filters:</b> RP Item, Center, Status.

<b>List row actions:</b> Edit (Draft, For Revisal), Delete (Draft, For Revisal), View.

<h2 id="quick-start">Quick Start</h2>

<ol>
<li>Create an <a href="#/inventory/inventory-transfer">Inventory Transfer</a> from Main Store to Vehicle 1 center and approve it.</li>
<li>Open the approved transfer and go to the <b>RP</b> tab.</li>
<li>Enter <b>Out</b> on Milk Crate lines (crates leaving source) and matching <b>In</b> (crates arriving at destination) — or enter net movement per line.</li>
<li>Click <b>Save and Approve</b> on the RP tab.</li>
</ol>

<p><b>Example:</b> Morning load — 200 milk crates Out from Main Store, 200 In to Vehicle 1.</p>

<h2 id="widget">RP Tab on Inventory Transfer</h2>

On an approved or closed Inventory Transfer, the <b>RP</b> tab shows linked RP Center Transfers or an editable grid to create one.

Existing linked transfers are read-only. Click <b>Save and Approve</b> to create and approve a new RP Center Transfer linked to the Inventory Transfer.

Van-sales reps can create RP Center Transfers in the <b>Field Sale App</b> to load or unload the vehicle center at the start or end of the day — without returning to the office ERP.

<h2 id="faq">FAQ</h2>

<p><b>Must I create Inventory Transfer and RP Center Transfer together?</b><br>Best practice is to use the RP tab on Inventory Transfer so stock and RP movements stay aligned. Standalone RP Center Transfer is for corrections.</p>

<p><b>Does this move product stock?</b><br>No — only returnable packaging. Product stock moves on the Inventory Transfer itself.</p>

<p><b>How do I verify the transfer?</b><br><a href="#/rp/reports/center-rp-transactions">Center RP Transactions</a> for each center, or <a href="#/rp/reports/center-wise-rp">Center Wise RP Stock</a> for current balances.</p>
<p><b>Centers must differ?</b><br>Source and destination center cannot be the same.</p>
<p><b>Inventory transfer tab?</b><br>Often created from Inventory Transfer RP widget.</p>
