Open from Purchase → Suppliers — select a supplier and open the Supplier Summary from the supplier view or list row action.

Panel title in ERP: Supplier Summary

What it shows. A compact snapshot of the selected supplier's purchase and accounts activity — outstanding payable balance, total purchases in the current period, open orders, open invoices, recent transaction count, and payment terms.

When to use it. Use before placing a new order or approving a payment to quickly assess the supplier's current balance and recent activity without running a full statement report.

How amounts are calculated. Outstanding balance reflects the supplier's accounts payable ledger balance as of today. Purchase totals use approved purchase invoices within the current month unless a date range is selected in the modal.

FAQ

Where do I open Supplier Summary?
From the Suppliers list or when viewing a supplier record, use the summary action or icon to open the modal.

How is outstanding balance calculated?
It reflects the supplier's accounts payable ledger balance including all approved invoices, debit notes, and payments recorded to date.

Does this include open quotations?
No. Quotations are not financial commitments. The summary focuses on orders, invoices, and payable balances.

Can I export the supplier summary?
No. For exportable data, use the Supplier Statement or Supplier Outstanding reports.

Does the summary include purchase expenses?
Yes, when they affect the supplier payable balance. Non-credit expenses settled immediately may not show as outstanding.

Why is order value different from invoice value?
Orders show committed spend; invoices show billed amounts. Uninvoiced receipts or partial billing create differences.

Can I open this for any supplier?
Yes, from the supplier list or supplier view when you have permission to view supplier transactions.
