<p><b>What it shows.</b> Each quotation line by item with supplier, quotation number, dates, quantity, unit, price, description, and status (Draft, Approved, Cancelled, etc.).</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use to compare supplier pricing, track open RFQs, and maintain an audit trail of quoted rates before converting to orders or invoices.</p>

<p><b>How do I compare quotes for one item?</b><br>Filter by <b>Item</b> or <b>Item Code</b> in <b>Advanced Filter</b> and generate the report to see all supplier quotes side by side.</p>

<p><b>Can I see only approved quotations?</b><br>Yes. Set <b>Status</b> to <b>Approved</b> before generating.</p>

<p><b>How do I convert a quote to a purchase order?</b><br>Open the quotation from <b>Purchase → Purchase Quotations</b> and use convert actions on an approved quotation.</p>

<p><b>What is the difference from Quotation Wise Purchase?</b><br>Item Wise Quotes lists quotation lines. <a href="#/purchase/reports/quotation-wise-purchase">Quotation Wise Purchase</a> shows purchases already converted from quotations.</p>

<p><b>Do quotations post to accounts or inventory?</b><br>No. Quotations are non-posting. Only approved purchase orders, invoices, debit notes, and purchase expenses affect ledgers and stock.</p>

<p><b>Why is my report empty?</b><br>No quotation lines match the date range and filters, or status is set to a state with no rows.</p>

<p><b>Are closed or lost quotations included?</b><br>Depends on the <b>Status</b> filter. Use <b>Approved</b> for open quotes still available to convert.</p>
