# MRN Report

<h2 id="overview">Overview</h2>

Go to <b>Production → Reports → MRN Report</b>.

<p><b>What it shows.</b> Each Material Roll Number with date, dimensions (length, width, SQM), item, machine, linked Production Order and Sale Order, customer, consumed quantity, and balance quantity.</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use in textile, paper, or roll-based manufacturing to track individual rolls, remaining material, and consumption against orders.</p>

<li><b>Shop floor</b> — Find rolls with balance quantity available for the next job.</li>
<li><b>Customer service</b> — Trace which MRN was used on a customer's Production Order or Sale Order.</li>
<li><b>Quality</b> — Click Consumed Qty to open the linked FRN Report for finished roll traceability.</li>

<b>Advanced Filter:</b> Item, Batch, Item Group, Variant, Brand, Machine, Customer.

| Consumed Qty | Quantity consumed from the roll. Click to open FRN Report. |

<h2 id="faq">FAQ</h2>

<p><b>How are MRNs created?</b><br>MRNs are created through Roll Split Up on a multi-stage Production Order or related roll production workflow.</p>

<p><b>Why don't I see fully consumed rolls?</b><br>By default rolls with zero balance may be hidden. Choose <b>Show Zero Balance</b> from the More menu to include them.</p>

<p><b>What happens when I click Consumed Qty?</b><br>The FRN Report opens showing finished rolls produced from that MRN consumption.</p>
<p><b>MRN tracking?</b><br>Material roll number issued to production.</p>
<p><b>Machine filter?</b><br>Often filtered by machine from roll split setup.</p>
