# Multi-Stage Production Order

<p class="doc-lead">A multi-stage Production Order follows a Multi Stage BOM — production moves through defined stages and processes, each with its own material issue, voucher, and optional WIP transfer before final receipt into stock.</p>

<ol>
<li>Create and approve a Production Order with a <b>Multi stage BOM</b>.</li>
<li>Open the <b>multi-stage view</b> (dedicated layout with stages, inventory, and overhead sections).</li>
<li>For each stage process: <b>Start</b> → Issue For Production → Production Voucher → <b>Complete</b>.</li>
<li>Use <b>WIP Transfer</b> or <b>Roll Split Up</b> when moving semi-finished output between stages or tracking rolls.</li>
<li>After all stages: Receipt From Production for finished goods → Close order.</li>
