# Multi-Stage Production Order
A multi-stage Production Order follows a Multi Stage BOM — production moves through defined stages and processes, each with its own material issue, voucher, and optional WIP transfer before final receipt into stock.
Workflow
- Create and approve a Production Order with a Multi stage BOM.
- Open the multi-stage view (dedicated layout with stages, inventory, and overhead sections).
- For each stage process: Start → Issue For Production → Production Voucher → Complete.
- Use WIP Transfer or Roll Split Up when moving semi-finished output between stages or tracking rolls.
- After all stages: Receipt From Production for finished goods → Close order.

- Production Stage Group — define groups with Show in Report where needed.
- Production Stage — configure each stage with item, BOM, and QC questions.
- Multi Stage BOM — assemble stages and processes with % alloted.
- Enable multi-stage options in Production Settings if required.
