# Issue For Production

<p class="doc-lead">Issue For Production moves raw materials from a source inventory center to the production center (WIP). It reduces stock at the source and increases WIP at the destination. Quality inspection can be required before approval when configured on items or stages.</p>

<b>Advanced Filters:</b> Id, Issue for Production Request Id, Production Order, Source Center, Destination Center, Branch, Status, QC Status, date, Created date.

<b>List row actions:</b> Edit (Draft, Sent for Revisal), Delete (Draft, Sent for Revisal), View.

<p><b>Does Issue For Production post to accounts?</b><br>No — it moves inventory between centers only. Cost is recognized on Production Voucher consumption.</p>

<p><b>Why is Approve disabled?</b><br>Quality inspection may be pending. Complete QC via <b>Start Quality Inspection</b> first.</p>

<p><b>Can From Center and To Center be the same?</b><br>No — they must be different centers.</p>
<p><b>Why inventory not available?</b><br>Insufficient stock at center — check <a href="#/inventory/reports/stock-report">Stock Report</a>.</p>
<p><b>QC before issue approve?</b><br>Quality inspection can block approve until QC completes.</p>
