<h2 id="overview">Overview</h2>

Go to <b>Inventory → Inventory Reports → Serial Number Stock</b>.

<p><b>What it shows.</b> Choose an item to list every serial number of that item currently in stock, with the holding center, item type, value, expiry date and manufacture date. Click a serial number to open its full enquiry.</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use to see exactly which serialised units of an item are on hand and where, and to check expiry or manufacture dates before issuing or selling.</p>

<li><b>Store keeper</b> — Which serial numbers of this item are in stock and at which center? Run for the item.</li>
<li><b>Sales</b> — Which specific units can I pick to sell? Choose from the in-stock list.</li>
<li><b>Quality team</b> — Which units are near expiry? Review the Expiry column.</li>
<li><b>Service</b> — What is the manufacture date of a unit on hand? Read the Manufacture Date column.</li>

| Serial Number | The serial number in stock. Click to open its enquiry. |
| Serial Number ID | Identifier of the serial number. Click to open its enquiry. |
| Center | Inventory center holding the unit. |
| Item Type | Type of the item. |
| Value | Stock value of the unit. |
| Expiry | Expiry date of the unit. |
| Manufacture Date | Manufacture date of the unit. |

<h2 id="faq">FAQ</h2>

<p><b>Why is the report empty?</b><br>An item is required. Select an item before generating.</p>

<p><b>Can I limit the list to one center?</b><br>Yes. Set the <b>Center</b> filter before generating.</p>

<p><b>How do I see a unit's full history?</b><br>Click the serial number to open <a href="#/inventory/reports/serial-number-enquiry">Serial Number Enquiry</a> for that unit.</p>

<p><b>Does this show units that have left stock?</b><br>No. This report lists only serial numbers currently in stock. Use <a href="#/inventory/reports/serial-number-enquiry">Serial Number Enquiry</a> to see sold or issued units.</p>

<p><b>Why are some serials missing?</b><br>Serials already delivered, consumed, or status-closed are excluded from in-stock lists.</p>

<p><b>Can I update serial status from here?</b><br>No. Use <a href="#/inventory/serial-number-status-update">Serial Number Status Update</a> to bulk-change lifecycle status.</p>

<p><b>Do I need serial tracking enabled on the item?</b><br>Yes. Only items with serial number tracking appear in the item filter.</p>
