Go to Inventory → Inventory Reports → Pending Quality Inspection.

What it shows. One row per item line with QC still pending on a draft or quality-inspection-in-progress document. Source types include receipt notes, delivery notes, inventory transfers, issue for production, and receipt from production. Click QC Pending to open the quality inspection for that line. Click the bill number to open the source document.

When to use it. Use it as a consolidated QC queue so inspectors do not have to open each draft document and click lines one by one.

FAQ

Which lines appear in this report?
Item lines with QC status pending on source documents that are still Draft or Quality Inspection On Progress. Approved or closed documents do not appear.

Which document types are included?
Receipt Note, Delivery Note, Inventory Transfer, Issue for Production, and Receipt from Production. Use Transaction Type in Advanced Filter to narrow to one type.

How do I start or continue an inspection from the report?
Click the QC Pending button on the row. The same quality inspection form opens as when you click QC on a line inside the source document.

What does Age mean?
The number of days from the source document date to today. Higher age means the line has been waiting longer for QC.

Why did a line disappear after I finished QC?
Once the line is no longer pending (passed, failed, or otherwise resolved), it leaves this report. Generate again to refresh.

How is this different from the Quality Inspection list?
The Quality Inspection list shows inspection records that already exist. This report shows source document lines that still need QC, including lines where inspection has not been started yet.

Why is my report empty?
No pending QC lines match the date range and filters, or quality inspection is not required on the items in that period.

Why does the date range fail validation?
This report allows about 12 months maximum. Shorten the date range if validation fails.

Where can I learn how to record readings?
See Quality Inspection.
