# Item Wise Inventory Transfer Report

<h2 id="overview">Overview</h2>

Go to <b>Inventory → Inventory Reports → Item Wise Inventory Transfer Report</b>.

<p><b>What it shows.</b> One row per item with the <b>Quantity</b> transferred in the selected period, along with its unit, item group and the <b>Source Center</b> and <b>Destination Center</b>. Turn on <b>Show Value</b> to add the total transfer value. Click an item to open its enquiry.</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use to review stock moved between centers, to check transfers for a specific item or center pair, and to value inter-center movements.</p>

<li><b>Inventory controller</b> — How much of each item moved between centers this period? Review the Quantity column.</li>
<li><b>Branch manager</b> — What was sent from or received at my center? Filter by <b>Source Center</b> or <b>Destination Center</b>.</li>
<li><b>Finance</b> — What is the value of inter-center transfers? Turn on <b>Show Value</b>.</li>
<li><b>Store keeper</b> — How much of one item was transferred? Filter by <b>Item</b>.</li>

<b>Date</b> range. <b>Advanced Filter</b>: Item, Item Type, Source Center, Destination Center, Variant, Brand, Item Group.

| Unit | Inventory keeping unit. |
| Item Group | Item group of the item. |
| Source Center | Center the stock was transferred from. |
| Destination Center | Center the stock was transferred to. |
| Quantity | Quantity transferred in the period. |
| Total value | Value of the transfer (shown when Show Value is on). |

<p><b>What do Source Center and Destination Center mean?</b><br>Source Center is where the stock moved from; Destination Center is where it moved to.</p>

<p><b>Can I see transfers for a specific center pair?</b><br>Yes. Open the <b>Advanced Filter</b> and set <b>Source Center</b> and/or <b>Destination Center</b>.</p>

<p><b>How do I see the transfer value?</b><br>Turn on <b>Show Value</b> to add the total value column.</p>

<p><b>How do I open the item details?</b><br>Click the item code or name to open the item enquiry.</p>

<p><b>Which transfer statuses are included?</b><br>Approved and closed inventory transfers in the date range.</p>

<p><b>Why is my report empty?</b><br>No transfers match the period or source/destination center filters.</p>

<p><b>Why does the date range fail validation?</b><br>About 12 months maximum. Shorten the from/to period if validation fails.</p>
