Go to Inventory → Inventory Reports → Item Movement Report.

What it shows. One row per item for the selected period, showing the item, code, unit, brand and group, then the purchase quantity, purchase return, net purchase, sold quantity, sale return, net sold, and the current stock. A total row sums each column. Click the item code to open its item enquiry.

When to use it. Use it for a combined purchase-and-sale view of item movement — to see what was bought and sold (net of returns) over a period and what remains in stock.

How is Net Purchase Qty calculated?
Purchase quantity minus purchase return quantity for the period.

How is Net Sold Qty calculated?
Sold quantity minus sale return quantity for the period.

Does Current Stock change with the date range?
The movement columns are for the selected period, while Current Stock reflects the quantity in stock now.

How is this different from Month Wise Item Movement?
This report lists many items with purchase/sale movement for one period. Month Wise Item Movement breaks one item down month by month with a chart.

Why is my report empty?
No items had purchase or sale movement in the period, or filters exclude all rows.

Are transfers included in movement columns?
Purchase and sale columns reflect invoiced purchase and sale activity; use Item Transactions for full movement types.
