A day-book style summary for one inventory center over a period — opening and closing cash, sales by payment mode, a stock movement summary, and the sales recorded at that center.
What it shows. For a chosen center and date range, a summary header (salesman, opening and closing cash, cash and credit sales, number of sales and total sales amount), a Stock summary table with each item's opening, in, out and closing quantity, and a Sales table listing the invoices for the period. The stock summary can be expanded with per-transaction-type columns.
When to use it. Use for end-of-day or period review of a single center or counter, covering both cash movement and stock movement in one place.
Why is the report empty?
A center is required. Select a center before generating.
Why is the center already filled in and locked?
A default inventory center can be set in your user settings; depending on that setting the field may be pre-filled or locked.
How do I see more detail in the stock summary?
Use Show Detailed Stock to break the movement into columns by transaction type.
Why are some items missing from the stock summary?
Items with no movement are hidden by default. Choose Show all items to include them.
Which transaction types appear in detailed stock?
Receipts, deliveries, transfers, adjustments, and other approved inventory movements for the center in the period.
Why is quantity different from Stock Report?
Center Summary may use movement columns for the selected period; Stock Report shows current on-hand snapshot.
Can I run this for all centers?
A center is required. Run once per center or use center-wise report for multi-center comparison.
