The <b>Department Wise Employee Count</b> chart shows how employees are distributed across departments. Use it to:

<li>Identify departments with low or high headcount.</li>
<li>Spot unassigned employees (not linked to any department).</li>
<li>Plan resource allocation and hiring.</li>

The <b>Employee Document Expiry (45 days)</b> widget lists employees whose identity documents have expired or will expire within 45 days from today.

| Employee | Employee name. |
| Document | Document type (Passport, Civil ID, Visa, etc.). |
| Expiry Date | Document expiry date. |
| Status | <b>Expired</b> (red) or <b>Near Expiry</b> (orange). |

<b>Can I filter the dashboard by branch or date?</b><br>
No. Widgets show current company-wide counts. Use HR reports for filtered analysis.

<b>Why is an employee missing from the department chart?</b><br>
Employees without a department appear as unassigned. Set department on the <a href="#/hr/employees">Employee</a> job details.

<b>What documents appear in the 45-day expiry widget?</b><br>
Identity documents with expiry dates on the employee record — Passport, Civil ID, Visa, Labor Card, etc.

<b>Does clicking a KPI open a filtered list?</b><br>
Yes. Total, Salaried, and Labour widgets drill to the employee list with matching pay classification filter.

<b>Is this the same as Employee Profile?</b><br>
No. The dashboard is for HR administrators. <a href="#/hr/employee-profile">Employee Profile</a> is the logged-in employee's self-service view.

<b>How often does document expiry refresh?</b><br>
When you open or refresh the dashboard — there is no separate scheduled email from this widget alone.
