Report title in ERP: Day Book

What it shows. Lists all active financial documents for a single day — cash transfers, expenses, prepaid expenses, payment and receipt vouchers, purchase invoices and expenses, debit notes, sale invoices, advance sale invoices, and credit notes. Each transaction type appears in its own section with section totals.

When to use it. Use at day-end to verify that all vouchers and invoices for the day were recorded, or to answer “what happened in accounts on this date?”

How amounts are calculated. The report includes all documents for the selected day in the company timezone and excludes cancelled or draft entries. Cash transfers show as a debit to the destination account and a credit from the source. Filter by transaction type to view only one category.

Notes. If your company uses a default branch, branch scoping may apply on the server even though the screen shows only Date and Transaction type.
