<h2 id="overview">Overview</h2>

Go to <b>Accounts → Reports → Branch Wise Profit</b>.

Report title in ERP: <b>Branch Wise Profit</b>

<p><b>What it shows.</b> Same P&amp;L structure as Brand Wise Profit but columns represent branches/locations. Includes an Others column for transactions without a branch.</p>

<p><b>When to use it.</b> Use to compare outlet or branch performance over a period. Click a branch amount to open the transactions behind that cell.</p>

<p><b>How amounts are calculated.</b> Branch is taken from linked source documents (sales, purchases, expenses, vouchers). Default branch user setting may restrict the report to one branch.</p>

Row labels: Revenues, expense and cost lines, Total Revenues, Gross Profit, Expenses, Total Expense, Non Operating Income/Expense, Net Income Before Taxes, Less Income Tax Expense, Net Income. Columns: Branches header plus one column per branch.

<h2 id="drill-down">Drill-down</h2>

Click a branch amount on Revenues, Contra, Direct Cost, Operating Expense, or Non-Operating Income/Expense.

<ul>
<li>A <b>leaf</b> account opens <a href="#/accounts/reports/account-transactions">Account Transactions</a> in a modal, filtered to that account, branch, and date range. Transactions without a branch open as <b>Others</b>.</li>
<li>A <b>group</b> (typical expense headings) opens <a href="#/accounts/reports/group-summary">Account Group Summary</a> in a modal. Click a child name to open Account Transactions for the same branch.</li>
<li>The modal period net matches the clicked cell.</li>
<li>Footer totals (Gross Profit, Total Expense, Net Income, and similar) are not clickable.</li>
